Top Shark May Not Play Again This Year

It has been reported to me today from a 'reliable' source that Bobby Eaves, for reasons undisclosed, will not be playing again for Somerset's senior team for the remainder of the year. He will, however, continue with his junior coaching role at the club. If Bobby is a reader we would love to hear his story. Hopefully, from a Shark pont of view, he left on a positive note.

  1. Reports are Sessay has left Knights as well? Or at least not playing the next two week?

  4. I heard it relates to his conduct the night prior to & the day of the game against Devonport. Nothing 'on field' related either. I congratulate John Wheeler &/or the club for making a stand.

If what is being said about Luck is correct, I would think similar penalties should apply. Especially as their skipper.

  5. Sam Luck will play seniors for Northern Rangers against Prospect so get over it. So what he played a game of AFL probably the 3rd time this season and we have 2 weeks off later in the year, he will most likely play then as well. In the end we dont own him, probably not the wisest thing to play the Saturday before a big match, however we are over it, I suggest the rest of you do as well.

  16. Where was Mark "funky" Ambrose?? surely he is worth 6 goals? That would have at least forced extra time.

  17. Rob Hughes best defender would have been closely followed by Kaimon Johnson

  18. Hughes, Johnson, & Duffy best defenders in the league. Agreed Gratton would be one of the best if he had any pace. Sessay carves him up when we play them.

  22. Hey Nick when will we see an update?????

There is nothing to update. It is Bobby's personal decision not to play and he does not need to divulge his reasons. Updates would merely be based on rumour.

  24. Bobby played (and scored 2 of 3 goals) with the Shark's Reserves Team on Saturday and the team won - the first time in about 2 years.
